The German-Russian 'Theater of Calligraphy "was created in 2005 at the initiative of painter Viktor Nikolaev. More than 40 multi-media performances of the theater were shown in Berlin, Moscow and other cities. Since 2008, the theater is run by the Society for promoting eastern europe eV organization. The new play deals with the contacts between Russia and its neighbors. In the performance, in part, the antiutopische Dilogie "The day of Oprichnik" (2006) and "The Sugar Kremlin" (2008) of the famous Russian writer Vladimir Sorokin used as described in the , as Russia has in 2028 separated from the West and with a "Great Russian Wall" around it. Visualization sorokinscher ideas generated at the boundary between composition and improvisation. The calligraphy in its ambiguity is expressed in hieroglyphic forms (video projection on the screen), which in the bodies of the dancers (Minako Seki and Ingo Reulecke) and the "sound figures" of musicians (Natalia Pschenitschnikowa and Ildar Kharissov) reflect.
