Ich sollte mich nicht so viel auf fanfiktion.de umsehen. Es is just so ... strange what one gets to see there. But I prefer to start at the beginning.
"Reviews are an incentive for the author to improve and continue writing." Is there somewhere. The only reward the author, so to speak. In a way, a bit of that for which you do it. Of course there are different types of reviews. Short, succinct things like "Super! Write more quickly, "do not usually help a lot further, but it's kind of recognition anyway. Better than nothing, so to speak. From constructive criticism, for example, that you could do something better here and there, the language used in the scene was totally apt or statements of a character was a bit out of character, however, probably every author dreams. So do I.
It is not even necessarily about me and my stories - which does not mean that I would hope not one or the other review everything. But the fact is that I know of some terrific stories that need to bum each chapter with one or two reviews of rum. So ... really terrific stories, where everything is right. And then, on the other side, click your way through many a column, the high double digit figures looks wrong, to quantify the reviews, think, "Well, the story must be so fabulous!", Reads a few lines and question then arises: "Uh ... what? Where the hell is the enchanting story? I can not see out of sheer spelling errors do not, "Did I have often Sun And it is quite normal that there are qualitative differences, especially when you consider also the age of some authors. Nevertheless, I do not understand how a love story for Jack and Sam without tension, without can have a realistic view, without (good) without action, romance and 239 Reviews. Is It Just Me? I have here the strange taste? Or is the only level so low? Actually, I am reluctant to really think so. But another explanation, I think not unfortunately.
